UKMOD

UKMOD is a tax-benefit microsimulation model based on the UK component of EUROMOD, enhanced and extended as part of a project funded by the Nuffield Foundation.

UKMOD implements a number of extensions and improvements over the UK component of EUROMOD. It permits analysis of the effects of taxes and social benefits on household incomes and work incentives for the population of each nation in the UK.

UKMOD is currently the only tax-benefit model for the UK entirely open and accessible to policy makers, researchers and the interested public, with regional disaggregation and timely updates.
